Vintage Chinese Porcelain Tea Service & Tray with Butterflies Flowers by Zhongguo Jingdezhen c.1970s

This is a vintage, Chinese porcelain tea service by Zhongguo Jingdezhen and dates to the 1970s The service includes a teapot, four cups and a tray. They are decorated with a hand-painted design of butterflies and flowers. The tray has five circular felt pads adhered on the underside, to prevent scratching to furniture surfaces, etc. The teapot and the four cups have the factory mark in red, with Made in China beneath on the underside of each piece, the tray is unmarked (or the central felt pad is obscuring it), see photo 10 for the mark from the teapot. Sizes: Teapot: 15.1cm tall to the top of the lid finial, 12.4cm tall without the lid, 21.5cm length (handle to spout) approximately, 12cm maximum diameter approximately Cups: three are 5.8cm in height, and one is 5.9cm in height, two have a top rim diameter of 7.6cm, and the other two have a top rim diameter of 7.7cm Tray: 25.2cm in diameter, 1.6cm in height The complete service weighs (without packaging) 1678.5g Condition: There are no cracks or glaze-crazing to any piece. One cup has a couple of small surface scuff chips on the top rim, and a small chip on the base ring, see photos 8 & 9 for the chips, they are ringed with a red circle. The teapot has some tiny pitted marks on the interior base, and one small, dark pitted mark further up in the interior, mentioned for accuracy. There are two further small, dark pitted marks on the exterior body, one just above where the top of the handle joins the body, and the other near the spout, again mentioned for accuracy. There are a few, tiny marks on the exterior body of the teapot, There are very minimal and minor utensil/cutlery marks present. There are age and use-related marks on the base rings of the teapot and cups, these are not seen when they are in situ. There is very little wear to the hand-painted flowers and butterflies on any piece.
