Vintage Monsoon Deep Red Pure Silk Long Dress 10 12 Chinese Mandarin Chinoiserie 90s Y2K

Beautiful elegant longer midi/maxi dress from Monsoon circa mid late 90s Stunning deep red wine colour PLEASE NOTE this is labelled a UK 12 but due to changes in sizing over the decades it’s more like a modern UK 10, possibly a SMALL 12. I am wearing it as a petite UK 8 and i’m holding it at the back for the photos to give a better idea of fit. I am also 5ft3 (and also wearing heels) and it’s just below my ankles (maxi). On someone taller it’s going to be more of a longer midi length but can be turned up easily too to make it a little more modern! Lovely mandarin style faux buttons at the front (there’s a concealed zip at the back) Split/vent to back hem New with tags; excellent condition Please read paper label shown on photos about the pure silk material This pure silk is what I can only describe as a “brushed or matt silk”; it’s not like the sheer/shiny silk most people associate it with.
