Makeup Your Mind Hardcover in original slipcover by François Nars

The slipcover is of course a little dusty because it has worked to keep the book pristine. The book is pretty heavy and therefore whenever it rests, the metal spine makes indentations on the cardboard and it marks itself as a result of the way it's made. It is comprised of sections of looks and starts with a photo of the naked face, then shows the complete look, with a turnable clear acetate sheet that shows you the placement of products on either face. At the end of the section, it has a full list of instructions for each look. The looks range from classic 'No Makeup Makeup' all the way to Dark Artistic and are distinctly 90s/00s Nars, Makeup made to be worn on the face as an expression rather than searching for a look that suits your face shape! The book also contains lots of useful advice condensed into easy to read and follow pages. A treasure.
