Ile Pourpre Perfume by Liquides Imaginaires, Fresh, sophisticated and sensual, Ile Pourpre is an enigmatic chypre fragrance that seamlessly blends spice, fruit and precious wood. The opening is a briskly aromatic effusion of bergamot laced with crisp, peppery shiso leaf, luminous ginger, cardamom and bracing but sweet herbal nuances of angelica. Lush black fig ripens at the heart, laced with the honey and tea facets of fenugreek, davana and lovely, anisic artemisia. Base notes of sheer, shimmering cashmeran, ambroxan, cream and cinnamon mingle with earthy cedar and patchouli to produce a subtly smoky, beautifully harmonized finish.

L’lle Pourpre was designed by perfumer Nadege Le Garlantezec and released by luxe French fragrance house Les Liquides Imaginaires in 2016. This unisex scent belongs to the label’s Les Eaux Imaginaires collection. This series also includes Desert Suave (2018), composed by Quentin Bisch and Nisrine Grillie, and Fleuve Tendre (2017), created by Sonia Constant.
