Spark Cologne by Liz Claiborne, Spark is a warm and spicy fragrance for men that was introduced in 2002. It opens with top notes of pepper, rum, and cardamom. The fragrances heart contains notes of honey, fig leaf, and cognac. The scent finishes with a sandalwood and amber nestled at its base.Though Liz Claiborne herself passed in 2007, the legacy of her brand lives on through the company’s women’s and men’s apparel and fragrance lines. What began as a women’s fashion company in New York in 1976 evolved into a Fortune 500 business, and was actually the first company to enter the Fortune 500 that was founded by a woman. The company’s mix-and-match collection solidified its place in fashion history by radicalizing the way women choose their clothing. The company also launched a line for men in 1980 called “Claiborne”. A first women’s fragrance from the brand made an appearance in 1986 followed by a men’s cologne three years later in 1989.
