This is an antique miniature Nara nightlight from 1897, featuring a decorative milk glass base that is pink-tinted with gold floral accents. The overall height of the nightlight is 8 1/4 inches, including the clear chimney, which is marked "Japan." However, I am uncertain if the chimney is the original. The base measures 3 inches square. Please note that this is a pre-owned antique item; it does show some signs of wear, including missing paint, discolored areas, and patina on the brass-tone hardware, but there are no chips.
