VTG 1930-1950s Mickey w/ Saxaphone Mini Planter
This planter shows Mickey Mouse holding a saxophone. It is made from glazed bisque. Mickey is black with the early white face look. His top is white and was not colored. He has a green bow tie. The saxophone that he looks like he is ready to play is yellow. He has a large, smiling, red mouth. His legs are red/orange. His shoes are brown. The planter is to the right of Mickey. It is round and has diamonds and triangles coming up from the bottom in an Art Deco, geometric style. On the bottom in ink is "Made in Japan". It does not have the Disney mark so it may not be authorized. This planter is 4" tall x 4-3//8" wide x 2-7/8" deep. The opening at the top has a 2-1/2" diameter. This planter is from the 1930s.
