This is a jardiniere or planter by Roseville Pottery, Roseville, Ohio. The "White Rose" collection was introduced in 1940 and the numbers on the bottom "653-3" designates the shape and size of the piece within the White Rose collection. This pattern was very popular, featuring white floral designs on various colored backgrounds, such as pink, blue, green, and brown. Roseville Pottery ceased production in 1954. This piece is in flawless condition, no scratches or chips. Stamped Roseville and 653-3 on bottom of piece. Dimensions are 4 3/4" diameter including handles, 4 1/2" without. Height is 3 1/4", opening of piece is 3 1/4".
