This is a beautiful hand made and hand painted French jardinière. It has a provincial farmhouse style, with hand painted flowers and lion's feet. Vibrant colors of pink, purple, blue, green and yellow. It was made by the Saint Clément pottery makers, which are well known for their pottery and Majolica.
It is marked on the bottom with a St Clément mark. Made around 1910-1930, in France.
Good Antique condition. One tiny chip on one of the feet (pic 6). Some paint crazing and a couple bumps in the glaze. Measures 7.5” from handle to handle, 4” wide and 4” high.
