This is beautiful piece and it is truly vintage. And it is huge enough to fit at least a queen. It came from my stepfathers estate and likely belonged to his mother. He died in 1986. This coverlet is woven and is reversible. It is really heavey cotton, wool, and pehaps some linen. it is fringed on three sides. This item appears to never have been used. it has been sitting in a cedar chest for as long as I can remember (I am 64), and it is in MINT condition. Upon close inspection there are 3 tiny spots where the weaving is thin. see photos. these spots are not really detectable until yo hold it up to the light. Very tiny and unoticable.
seamed egde to bottom (not including fringe) is 8 ft (96") long.
fringed edge to fringed edge (not including fringe) measures 80"
