This handmade Cathedral Window quilt is very unique in the use of different colors and patterns for part of the foundation. Where the foundation is a white, the "window pane" is patterned. The panes are a small 2.5 inches from tip to tip. There are a few of the points that broke, and there is at least one stain as pictured. It's another cloudy day here in the Pacific Northwest so the lighting is not the best. The "head" edge is straight, but the other three edges are scalloped.
I also have the provenance, which makes this quilt extra special. It looks and feels like it was hardly used, if at all. The hand stitching is very fine.
This quilt is fairly heavy due to all the material used to create it.
