Hard-To-Date Vintage Expanding Book Holder. Very Nice Piece! Could only find one just like this one (EBay $139). PicClick has an Art Noveau one with this same build design for $225, and it states it is Brass. When closed to its smallest size, it measures 12.5 inches, but expands out to almost 23 inches, so can hold quite a few Books! We polished the main rods (the rods when it is closed to its smallest size), and it appears they are Brass. It is in really Good Condition!
