Beautiful gold tone very detailed 1951 Hollycraft necklace. Signed Hollycraft 1951 CORP. The fold over clasp is marked USA. It’s 16” in length. A few of the stones have darkened and others appear to be a different shade of red. There is one tiny Red rhinestone stone shown on the last picture. The rhinestones are glass. There is minimal fading to the gold tone, for being 74 years old the necklace is really in great condition. See pics

Hollycraft jewelry was created by the Hollywood Jewelry Manufacturing Company, founded in New York by Joseph Chorbajian in the late 1930s, with his cousin Jack Hazard and friend Archie Chorbajian joining later. The company rebranded to Hollycraft in 1948, producing distinctive, elaborate costume jewelry featuring pastel or multi-colored rhinestones set in antique-gold-tone metal, often in matching sets (parures). While the company operated until the late 1970s, pieces from 1950 to 1959 are often dated by the "COPR." and year inscribed on the back.
