Stunning set of 3 double candlesticks made by LE Smith. They are made from black amethyst glass, this design radiates a Gothic/Renaissance vibe. This pattern is called "MT.Pleasant" it is also known as "Double Shield. approx. measuring 4 1/2" in height, and 5 3/4" in width. In amazing condition, Very small manufacturing defect, & creasing on one.
History: LE Smith located in Mt. Pleasant, PA In business from 1907- 2010 pieces were hand made, pour in molds technique, pressed into beautiful glass pieces. Produced about 95% of ALL black glass in the 1915-30 era; originally limited to 2500 pcs.
