Stars & Bars Fairy lamp by Indiana Glass Co is red flashed, meaning a base of amber glass was used to make the lamp, & a thin layer of red glass was applied. That is why you can see the amber through the red as it wears off iver time with cleaning. This is still a beautiful fairy lamp & a great addition to any collection.
There are 3 small flea bites on the rim of the top piece (see pictures for zoomed in detail), & inside the base, one of the rests to hold the lid is chipped but still functional.
Measures 6.5" tall & the base has a 4.75" diameter.
