Plata Lappas Crystal Lidded Biscuit Jar - Argentina. Plata Lappas, known for quality crystal collections is seen in this hand-blown, hand cut glass jar/canister with silver plated lid made in Argentina. The embossed lid with center motif and small scrolled handles on rim is marked ISC Sterling on the rim. There are many options for this jar; candy, tobacco, trinkets - or just a lovely decor item for your vanity.
Estate find in very good condition with no nicks or chips in glass. The lid interior shows surface scratches and age related tarnish 'as found'; random light scratches on underside. The lid sits on the glass and does not seal tight. The oval foil Lappas label on bottom shows wear. Measurements approximate - 5"H x 5" W; lid 4" dia.
