This is a vintage paper mache doll by Hong Horizons was used to conceal the hairspray can on the vanity or dressing table. This hand painted doll features a dark haired lady with a blue bow in her hair and a blue dressing gown and measures approximately 13" tall. Made in Japan circa 1960's. Paper labels of 'Japan' and "Hong Horizon' are inside the base.
Condition:
When I came across her I knew I had to clean her up and fix the previous attempt to hide the repair that was made. It appears that her head had broken off. Hopefully I did a decent job. I did not attempt to completely hide the fact that the head had broken off, thus a small line on the back of head/hair can still be seen. The last photo is before her "makeover". Please take a look at all the photos to determine condition.
