This vintage news photo still (7”x9.25”) is in very fine condition. This infamous photo shows Cary Grant with Lana Turner & her daughter Cheryl at the banquet following the Oscars just days after underworld mobster Johnny Stompanato was murdered by Lana's daughter Cheryl. Apparently Cheryl stabbed Johnny to protect her mother who was being threatened &/or beaten by the mobster. Since this is an original 70 year old vintage still photo, it has minor imperfections or defects routinely found in vintage photographs. There are some tiny border defects & other minor marks or defects that were likely acquired through handling. Overall it is in fantastic condition & has the King Features News Syndicate blurb used in the newspapers that featured this shocking photo.
