Early aviation collectors memorabilia! This type of green tinted aviator sunglasses were first made in the 30’s by Bausch and Lomb for Navy and Army Corp pilots flying at high altitudes to minimize the sun’s glare. In WWII, Wilson Products sold the green tinted sunglasses to the US military. These sunglasses are 6” across and have a metal 2” x 2 1/4”lens frame with green tinted glass. Wireless charging and rims covered by rubber make up the ear pieces. The metal frame has discoloration. There are no cracks or chips on the lenses. A nice piece of military aviation history.
