An incredible artifact from the time. Compiled by a WW2 veteran from Chicago who also served in postwar Germany. Ingeniously created using 1942 wallpaper sample books they include a number of incredible clippings of the time relating to the war. It appears that the books contain mostly images and headlines from 1942-43 stories in no strict order. Some really incredible clippings included such as action in Stalingrad and Sicily/Italy campaigns, soldiers’ stories, and newspaper cartoons. A truly great find. Age appropriate wear including the backs of the books being detached that you can see in the last photos. Newspaper clips are in good condition. Items sold as is.
