This piece features wonderful detail with vibrant colors of a woman in the center of a diamond shape with four (4) smaller pictures of faces in each corner
The sides feature rows of butterflies
The piece is signed on the lower right hand side
This piece measures 10 1/2" x 6 1/8"
We are not sure if the artist used watercolor, colored pencils or some other medium
Biography of Elmer William Pirson:
An American Illustrator and painter, Elmer William Pirson was born in 1888 in New York.
Artistically, he is known to have studied under George Bridgman and James Earle Fraser of the Art Students League in New York City.
He was a member of the Guild of Freelance Artists.
The artist had a number of illustrations in Judge Magazine, including a cover. Pirson maintained a studio in Rochester and Buffalo, New York, wh
