The Little Shepherd crewel Christmas Stocking lovingly made by PZ in 1990 (signed and dated on the stocking). **Note that this listing is for the finished project, not the kit.**
This stocking is richly detailed, featuring 2 angels playing trumpets over a night time scene of Bethlehem. In the foreground, a shepherd child stands watch over his flock. The sheep are stitched to be fluffy and textured. The stitchery details are impressive.
The blue felt backing on back has light marks but don't show through on front. See last 2 photos.
In very good vintage condition (about 32 years old!) and ready to become a part of your treasured, heirloom Christmas collection.
Measures about 18" diagonally.
