Rare and highly desirable double opening hinged lid example, allowing use from either side of a desk. Brass lip, which was silver / nickel plated. Crystal glass well. Dated around 1900. Small indentation on lid, otherwise very good condition for its age. Purchased at an estate sale of a local antiques dealer.
