Rare Murano made paperweight celebrating the 100 the anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. Features a deep red central core with an image of Lady Liberty with the dates 1886 and 1986 and the words "Celebrate Liberty". This is surrounded by pale blue, white and yellow millefiore that look like tiny daisies or forget-me-nots, and encased in a clear glass dome.
In excellent vintage condition with a few light scratches to the base and surface. T
here are a few manufacturing flaws including bubble inclusions and a white mark across the face of the red portion. All are shown in the photographs.
