Up for sale is a Rare Vintage Japanese Kutani Seven Lucky Gods Porcelain Tea Set Crackled Pattern. It contains 1 teapot and 4 matching cup. Hand painted "seven lucky Gods" scenes on every piece.

The background glaze has the beautiful crackled pattern. Over the glaze is the Famille rose-verte painted traditional Japanese "seven lucky Gods" scenes. In Japanese mythology, the Seven Lucky Gods or Seven Gods of Fortune (七福神, Shichifukujin in Japanese) are believed to grant good luck and are often represented in netsuke and in artworks. One of the seven (Jurōjin) is said to be based on a historical figure. All pieces are stamped the Kutani symbols.

The tea set is in perfect condition with no chip/crack/damage. These are rare to find items!
