Great Falls Metal Works was a jewelry company founded in 1968 by Jan Palombo and Michael Brothers in Paterson, New Jersey, named for the nearby Great Falls of the Passaic River. They created unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry using recycled precious metals, rare stones, and their own lapidary skills, becoming known for their modernist designs and intricate brooches. The brooches were only made from 1968 to the 1980s and are quite collectible.
