Lot of 7 editions of Scientific American spanning the 1870s. These are all in good, intact condition with clean pages. These were extracted from a bound volume so have a bit of binding on the backs. In this era, Scientific American was published as more of a newsletter rather than a bound magazine.
The edition discussing the Metlac Viaduct on the Mexican Railway is particularly impressive, and there is an edition covering the Centennial (May 20, 1876). Very nice masthead with many interesting articles and adverts.
