This is a blue transferware plate made in Staffordshire England. It is from a series of plates created of historic colonial scenes produced in the 70's. This plate features Independence Hall in the center surrounded by large flowers on the scalloped rim and finished with a brilliant high gloss. The plate is 9 1/2" in diameter and is now discontinued.
