Vintage Mr. Tara Heraldic Coat of Arms of the Kings of France Cufflinks Tie Bar

The exact origins and history of Mr. Tara are somewhat obscure. However, it's noted that Tara Fifth Avenue, a jewelry company originally based in New York City, relocated to Garden Grove, California, in 1965. They distributed some of their jewelry through direct sales. It's possible that Mr. Tara was a line or subsidiary under the Tara Fifth Avenue umbrella, focusing specifically on men's accessories.

Circa 1950s - 1960s

This set of Mr. Tara cufflinks and a tie bar features a heraldic design that incorporates gold fleur-de-lis motifs on a shield-shaped background. The shields have a white enamel surface, outlined in a black enamel.

Cufflinks are about 0.75" wide x 7/8" top to bottom, tie bar is 1.75" long

Good pre-owned condition with signs of wear, discolorations on metal and enamel
