Terrific condition! Sixteen total princess cut stones make up this quarter carat single diamond earring in 14K white gold setting with 14K white gold screw back. Personally, I would think the total carat weight is greater than .25 because the earring is not small and it seems hard to believe that all 16 stones aren't more than a quarter carat. The jeweler I bought this from told me the stones were "VVS" quality, but they are probably really more like VS. The color is decent too, probably G or H or there about. I was never given color info and I am no jeweler (just speculating).
Bottom line is the stones are very shiny and clean. They dance in the light very well.
