Vintage Hardy Boys 1959 Lot: Tower Treasure #1 & House on Cliff #2, Blue Spines

Step back into mid-20th-century mystery classics with this collectible pair of Hardy Boys books by Franklin W. Dixon. Published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1959, these are the classic blue spine editions, featuring iconic cover art that has become synonymous with the Hardy Boys series. Both feature revised texts from the original 1920s versions, updated in the 1950s to reflect contemporary detective methods.

Condition: Fair to Good vintage condition. Both books show shelf wear to the spines and corners, with some cover scuffs. On Tower of Treasure, previous owner’s name (“Mindy Harris”) is written inside front and back endpapers and on the textblock edge, along with a penciled price notation. There is no writing in the second book, and this book also has similar artwork on the inner cover boards as the first book. Pages in both books show age toning and scattered foxing, but bindings remain intact and text is fully legible.
