Stephanie was the organizer of a lecture in Denver on "Publishing Wars" and Dunning was the featured speaker. The salon was scheduled months in advance but not for a book signing. Serendipity granted that it fell within a few days of publication of "Booked to Die". Dunning's inscription references this fortunate coincidence. Denver, of course, is John Dunning's hometown and the setting for “Booked to Die.”
