Second impression of the first edition (the first with additional illustrations), hardcover copy of Borzois by Winifred E. Chadwick with The Perchino Hunt by Dmitri Walzoff (Kingprint Limited, 1977). A very rare vintage book on the beloved dog breed, richly illustrated and with photographs. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creasing and small tears, a few of which have a small bit of tape applied to interior side. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight. Very small stained area to fore edge of text block, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked though faintly tanned. See photos for condition.
