Limited first edition (numbered 254 of 500) oversized hardcover copy of The History of the First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry 1948-1991 by multiple authors (The Winchell Company, 1991). With introductory chapter summarizing its earlier history and The Rolls complete from 1774. Very rare military US history book. Richly illustrated and with photographs. Covers bowed away from text block at fore edges and corners. Some rubbing, scuffing and small stains to red boards. Corners bumped. Small tear to top left corner of front cover. Slightly cocked spine with a few instances of split binding, though all pages remain attached. Text block sags and does not sit complete flush with boards at top of book. Liquid damage to bottom edge of text block causing waviness and some staining. No writing inside or out. See photos for condition.
