RARE 9/4/1992 USSR VINTAGE SLAVA WATCH W/ RED STAR & PERESTROIKA ON THE FACE.

This watch is on perfect condition and runs on a battery that's readily available everywhere. The release date states on the original warranty/passport it is in fact new old stock. The release date also puts this watch at a very pivotal moment in the Soviet Union's history as well as the dissolution of the Soviet empire. It marks the end of the Soviet era that on paper officially dissolved December 1991. This watch represents the new era and a hopeful new Soviet Republic.
The watch kept perfect time when I first acquired it until the inevitable demise of the battery. All the original paperwork and packaging inserts are all here and still in tact. I'm currently looking for an original red& white stripe band that would have been on the watch. When I acquire one I will relist and adjust the total price. For now it's sold as is and is a great bit of memoribilia from a monumental portion of recent history.no original box included.
