This powder compact was made by Stratton of England in late 1957-1958. The scene that is on the front is a Fragonard painting from the 18th century entitled "The Sermon of Love". The painting consists of a romantic couple frolicking around a waterfall. It really does make you understand the feeling of true love. It is an awesome piece that has been taken care of.
