This is a rare find! It's most likely a sorority compact, featuring their motto in Latin, visible through magnification. These compacts were produced in very limited quantities, making them highly collectible.
This charming, small Evans compact features black enamel on the front, showcasing the club emblem beautifully set within a fabulous Art Deco design. The silver-toned back has a lovely engine-turned pattern.
When opened, it reveals a rotating sifter compartment designed for loose powder, as well as a mirror that has a slight haze but remains reflective. Behind the mirror, you'll find a full, removable pan of blush powder. The original puff is included, showcasing multicolor stitching that adds to its vintage appeal.
