Vintage Brush Pottery USA Hand-Painted Butterfly Planter Bowl. Cream colored with a brown hand-painted butterfly design. Measure 3.5" tall and 6" wide. From mid-20th century, Brush made pottery until 1982 and this is likely older than that. Great condition, no chips or cracks. There is normal wear for an item of this age and there are some areas where the side of the bowl is uneven, like bubbling, that was from production (see all pictures). The paint under the enamel has a cracked, aged look that is typical of this kind of pottery, called crazing. Rare and unique vintage piece.
