Vintage Metal Soft Yellow and White Breadbox From the 1940s featuring wheat in a basket with stalk of grain, ground wheat in a bag, an old scoop and a sifter with 2 butterflies flying above and has a removable lid. Made in the USA is on it. In researching the design it was said to be from the 1940’s although one person said the 1970’s. Lovely Aged Patina. Neutral colors. A couple of photos have a reflection on the surface, it is not damage. see video.
Great condition for its age. It has a couple of small dings from use but nothing dramatic (see photos). All seams are tight and the lid fits snugly. There are small use marks but no large scratches. There is minor surface rust in areas but none that is deep at all. The bottom is in good shape for its a age. I have photos of all areas as well as a video to provide more specific detail.
This is gorgeous with the amazing patina of its age. I wiped it down but left the patina intact. If you wanted to, much of it could be removed....
