This beautiful Fenton satin glass nut bowl was crafted in the 1970s–1980s, during a period when Fenton revived some of their most iconic early 1900s patterns. Using the original Orange Tree mold first introduced around 1910, Fenton reimagined it in a glowing satin milk glass finish that feels velvety to the touch and captures light with an elegant, soft sheen.
The satin effect was created by an acid-etching process that gently frosted the glass surface, giving it that unmistakable matte glow. Unlike mass-produced glass, every Fenton satin piece has subtle hand-finished touches that make it unique.
The Orange Tree pattern — with its raised fruit and leafy designs — was one of Fenton’s early carnival glass classics. By bringing it back in the 70s, Fenton gave collectors and décor lovers a chance to own a piece of history that blends antique charm with modern vintage appeal.
