Vintage Royal Doulton Victoria Bone China Figurine HN2471 England 1972
This is a beautiful glossy Royal Doulton bone china figurine titled Victoria, product number HN 2471. Different color decorations were given HN numbers, named after Harry Nixon, the head artist who taught the first figure painters. This figurine was designed by Margaret Davies in 1972 and is now retired.
Made of bone china, a strong and translucent material that Royal Doulton has used to make figurines since 1820. She's hand-painted with natural pigments to create subtle color effects and is very detailed with elegant features. She's sitting on a garden bench and wearing a ombre pink floral.
She measures approximately 7" tall, 6 1/2" wide and about 5" deep. She is in excellent condition without chips or cracks.
