This listing is for a vintage Chinese carved soapstone dragon with pearl sculpture on fitted carved wooden base. The sculpture and wooden base weigh 5 pounds, 8.5 ounces. The dragon with base is between 7-1/2 to 8 inches tall.
The sculpture has some very small bumps along its left horn. The bumps are typical for what is often seen on carved soapstone pieces. They are difficult to see. Overall, the sculpture is in pretty good shape. Please see photos.
