Pre-owned FORMIA Label Murano Large 9" Horse Head Clear Glass Sculpture.
A dramatic, vintage Venetian art glass horse head sculpture by the Formia glassworks of Murano, made as an homage to the renowned Nason & Moretti sculpture of the same subject.
The solid figure is mouth blown, made of clear glass using the sommerso technique. The mane and facial features are all hand tooled and applied clear glass.
The original “Formia, Vetri di Murano, Made in Italy” label remains.
