RARE vintage 1960's Beatles Gonk toy plush! Gonks were popular plushies made in the mid 1960's in the UK.
This one is on the rare larger side too as the only other Beatles ones I've seen are very tiny. This guy measures approximately 11" tall by 8" wide.
This brings me to the condition and one of the main reasons I'm selling. You can see on the front of his face the felt is starting to separate/deteriorate making a hole were the stuffing can be seen. When I purchased him, his face was completely normal and he's just been on my shelf so I'm not sure what happened. I'm sure it's elements and age etc. I really want this to go to someone who knows how to restore vintage toys or wants to put the work in themselves to make sure this amazing piece of history will be will be around for another 60 years.
The felt has also parted slightly on his right ear. See photos for better idea of condition.
