The Shun 6" Chef Knife DM0723 is made in Japan with the core steel being VG-Max that is clad with stainless Damascus steel. Edge has Rockwell hardness of 60-61. It has a Pakkawood handle and full tang. It has been professionally sharpened by Shun sharpening service. It has some small staining and faint scratches from light use. It is in great used condition.
