I don't have the speakers to test it but it does turn on. It does spin and the tone arm part moves when you press the start button. It does not have a cartridge. There's a little plastic piece that broke off from the tone arm rest but I'm pretty sure it doesn't affect the turntable and can probably be glued back on. I'm selling it as is for parts or repair as to avoid someone who isn't knowledgeable about this kind of equipment if it doesn't work as it should.
