This pot has one small chip in the spout and several chips in the lid edge as shown in the photos.
Aluminum Clay, or Kaolinite, is a soft, earthy, usually white, mineral (dioctahedral phyllosilicate clay), produced by the chemical weathering of aluminum silicate minerals like feldspar. Kaolin in ceramics is the main component of porcelain.
