Vintage 1953 "Yankee Yiddish" cocktail napkins. Full box - contains 36 different napkins, each with a different cartoon. All of the napkins are in mint/unused condition. Cartoons were drawn by Lawrence Lariar, and the napkins were produced by Monogram of San Francisco. Lariar was a popular cartoonist of the 1950s who published several books of his cartoons; this was the only set of napkins which he illustrated, though. Box is in excellent condition for its age (70+ years), with some light surface dirt and very light wear to the corners of the lid. Thanks for looking!
