This set of eight Libbey Apollo 16 commemorative “flat side” tumblers is a true vintage gem from 1972. Designed in celebration of the Apollo 16 space launch.
The glasses are a beautiful dusky blue, hold approximately 13ounces, and measure 5.5 inches in height with a 2 7/8 inch diameter.
These tumblers are perfect for all occasions and are ideal for use on mid-century modern bars or in retro-themed kitchens but carry well into your modern space. Although what I’ve researched says most Libbey glassware is safe in the dishwasher, I recommend hand washing only. These have been well cared for over the years and show no dishwasher residue/clouding. Not bad for 50+ year old glasses!
