The coin minted in Cyzicus (modern Kapu Dagh, Turkey) circa 295-299 AD. More than 1700 years ago and during the lifetime of Diocletian! Coin's Obverse: IMP CC VAL DIOCLETIANVS PF AVG, Radiate, draped, cuirassed bust of Diocletian right. Coin's Reverse: Emperor standing right receiving Victory on globe from Jupiter, standing left and holding sceptre. Mintmark in lower center: K gamma. Reference: RIC VI Cyzicus 16A. Provenance: Savoca Coins Auction House (Munich, Germany).
